The Spanish Marine Corps has ordered 14 Piranha-III 8x8 armored personnel carriers, plus two command variants and two ambulance variants. These are the first Piranhas bought by Spain. The vehicles are the amphibious variant with two propellers and a trim vane. The APCs mount a 40mm grenade launcher and a 12.7mm machinegun.--Stephen V Cole
