The Navy's Theater Wide anti-ballistic missile received a boost from Congress, which has ordered the Ballistic Missile Defense Organization to provide it with a test schedule for the Navy system. The Navy (wanting a piece of the ballistic missile defense budget) has been promoting the idea of stationing its aegis warships off the coasts during a time of crisis to provide another layer for the missile defense system.--Stephen V Cole
