Desperate to keep experience in the key units, the Army has a new program that will pay many Special Forces E7s and E8s a bonus of $8,000 ($10,000 for E7s) for each year that they agree to remain in service. The bonus is available to certain senior SF sergeants who have at least 20 but no more than 25 years in the military.--Stephen V Cole
