Congress is pushing for the Pentagon (which is awash in cash) to bail out the bankrupt NASA space agency. The idea would be for the Pentagon to chip in a few billion to help develop a new reusable rocket booster that could be used for military or civilian satellites. NASA could then divert money from that program to its financial black hole (the International Space Station).--Stephen V Cole
