 The government has offered to allow the rebels, holding fifteen European tourists near the Libyan border, to leave the country if they will release their prisoners. Otherwise, the army will go in and free the tourists. This would likely lead to the rebels getting killed, and would likely result in some of the tourists being killed or injured as well. The government has expressed interest in receiving help from foreign armed forces to help make a successful commando attack on the Islamic rebels holding the tourists. This would probably consist of night vision equipment and intelligence gathering capabilities.
