Hungary's state shipping company estimates it has lost over 4 million dollars because of destroyed bridges blocking the Danube at Belgrade. As previously mentioned in FYEO, the Danube will in all likelihood remain blocked until next spring. Meanwhile. Hungary's state oil company, MOL, said it had blocked Russian gas shipments to Serbia. A MOL spokesman said the gas shipments could resume when Serbia agreed to pay outstanding business debts.
