More on Montenegro's "slow divorce" from Serbia. On May 21 two Montenegrin spokesman said that if the Serb opposition did not remove Milosevic Montenegro would "go its own way." On May 27, Serbia responded by placing Yugoslav Army units in Montenegro on "alert" --ostensibly to prevent "infiltration by Otpor." Optor is the Serb student resistance group.
