Baghdad airport has reopened. Because of the embargo, only private aircraft may operate there. But Iraq has sent it's pilots abroad to train in the use of Airbus aircraft ordered before the Gulf War, and promised for delivery as soon as the embargo is lifted. There is talk that the Russians are planning to operate a lot of "private aircraft" into Baghdad airport.
