Abu Sayyaf is expected to continue it's bombing campaign. Meanwhile, police continue to arrest more Abu Sayyaf members, who have few friends among the civilian population. The other rebel groups (MILF and NPA) aren't doing very will either. In addition, regional terrorist groups, like the Indonesian Jemaah Islamiyah, are having a hard time establishing themselves in the Philippines (because of cultural, language and ideological differences.)
