The U.S. Army has developed a nerve gas detection device that deals with the problem of some types of nerve gas coating objects, and injuring any troops who touch that object. The Agent Detection Sensor looks like a small yellow piece of sponge. But in that sponge are active enzymes that react to the presence of nerve gas and turn the sponge from yellow to red after the sponge has been wiped on the surface containing the nerve gas. The Agent Detection Sensor will be used by military and anti-terrorism personnel.
