@ An Atlantic Fleet carrier will move to the Pacific, allowing the US to keep three carriers at sea in that theater (Indian Ocean, China, south Pacific).

@ The conversion of four Trident nuclear submarines to carry cruise missiles for shore bombardment, long discussed, is on a fast track.

@ Lots of money is going into new sensors to gather information and new computer systems to assemble, collate, and process it.--Stephen V Cole
